Summer High School Programmes in New Zealand
Are you looking to study abroad? Perhaps you’ve always wanted to improve your English, or you’re considering becoming an actor or a musician after you graduate. You may be someone who likes to help other people and you’d like to pick up a lifeguard certification, or you’re the outdoorsy type and you figure getting some mad survival skills could come in really useful someday. If any of these sound like you, then you should consider a northern hemisphere summer programme offered by high schools in New Zealand. Take part in a variety of activities and pick up new skills, and even have a homestay with a government-certified host family, who will provide you with scrumptious homemade meals throughout your stay, two on weekdays and three on the weekends. The course fees include the cost of your tuition, home stay, food, medical insurance and uniform. Many schools also offer ESOL programmes for students who come from non-English speaking backgrounds, but a minimum level of English will be required for any program that includes training. Besides summer programmes, semester and school year programmes are also available (September – December and/or February - June).
